The History
These earrings are inspired by an authentic 11th–12th-century Byzantine artifact. During this era, the empire's capital, Constantinople, was a global hub of art and architecture, centred around the iconic Hagia Sophia.
The original artifact was a small bronze pendant designed in a distinctive four-leaf clover silhouette and decorated with geometric circle-and-dot engravings, a signature style of Byzantine metalwork.
Hand-Sculpted Design
Sculpted first by hand in soft wax and then professionally cast in solid bronze, these earrings feature a rich, textured finish that replicates the tactile feel of an archaeological find.
